It All Begins Here

Below is the 5-step process for the Tier 3 - Full coaching package

1. Initial Assessment

We start by evaluating your overall competitiveness—flight hours, PCSM, AFOQT, resume, leadership experience, and unit fit. You’ll get straightforward feedback on where you currently stand and where you can improve.

2. Packet Optimization

Your application is often your first impression. We help refine and organize every part of your packet, including:

  • Resume formatting and content

  • Cover letters

  • Letters of recommendation strategy

  • Packet flow and presentation

  • Unit-specific tailoring

The goal is a professional, polished packet that is easy for hiring boards to review and remember.

3. Outreach & Rush Strategy

Getting hired is about more than numbers. We help applicants understand Guard and Reserve culture and develop a professional approach to networking and squadron visits.

We’ll cover:

  • How to contact units

  • Outreach email strategy

  • Rush etiquette and expectations

  • Fighter vs. heavy culture differences

  • Building authentic connections

4. Interview Preparation

If you receive an interview invite, preparation matters.

Our mock interviews are designed to simulate real Guard and Reserve boards, helping you improve:

  • Communication under pressure

  • Confidence and storytelling

  • Leadership responses

  • Personality and cultural fit

  • Aviation and military knowledge responses

You’ll leave with detailed feedback and a clear action plan before the real thing.

5. Ongoing Mentorship

Questions always come up during the process — especially when applying to multiple units. Squadron Ready provides continued support and guidance so you’re not navigating the process alone.

Because getting selected isn’t just about having good scores.
It’s about presenting yourself as someone a squadron wants to spend the next 10–20 years flying with.
